Product Description:
This is a 30x60 inch trim-to-fit Filtrete media pad filter. It is designed to be used in systems that require a wrap around hammock style filter. Since it does not include a frame, it will not support itself without the use of a third-party retainer frame, basket or support system.

According to 3M, the Filtrete Micro Particle and Airborne Allergen Reduction Hammock Filter:

- Outperforms all other fiberglass hammock filters at removing airborne allergens of pet dander, mold and bacteria, and microparticles of smoke and dust.

- 6 months clean air performance under normal conditions.*

- Convenient "when to change" removable reminder sticker included inside each package.

- No antimicrobial added: Filtrete filtering material will not support the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew or fungi in normal use.

* Note: The effectiveness and filter life can vary and will depend on the individual conditions in your home. Unusually dirty duct work, construction work, furniture or drywall sanding, the number of pets, and the presence of smokers are just some of the things that can shorten the life of your filter prematurely. In these cases, change the filter more frequently. If the Filtrete Micro Particle and Airborne Allergen Reduction Hammock Filter remains in use longer than 6 months, it may begin to restrict air flow or cause the system to malfunction due to its high efficiency filtering. This specially designed high efficiency filter could result in reduced air flow in some higher efficiency furnace/air conditioning systems. In these cases, change the filter more frequently.
